CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Healthy Heart Cardiac Rehabilitation program at Parkridge Medical Center has received a Three Year Certification from the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR).
The certification recognizes Parkridge Healthy Heart’s commitment to quality treatment and improved patient outcomes. Certified AACVPR programs offer the most advanced practices available in cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation. “This designation tells our patients and the community that our program adheres to the latest updated clinical standards and guidelines,” notes Barry Bell, cardiac service line director at Parkridge Medical Center.
The Parkridge Healthy Heart Cardiac Rehabilitation program is designed to help heart patients begin diet and exercise programs to improve their quality of life following the diagnosis or treatment of a cardiovascular disease.
